Jacinta has been developing her skills in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2010.
As well as completing her four year degree in Health Science – Acupuncture, she also holds post-grad qualifications in Nutrition.
Jacinta has a special interest in gut health and gastrointestinal disorders. She works to bring the gut back into balance so that the individual returns back to optimal health. The digestive organs are often at the heart of many modern Western diseases and syndromes according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jacinta makes such a wonderful addition to us here, bringing her knowledge of Western nutrition and health, and blending it with Traditional Chinese Medicine and its long history of helping to explain your digestive symptoms.
We have a strong focus here in working with women’s health and symptoms surrounding fertility-related issues. Jacinta brings her nutrition focus to this area of work also. Chinese Medicine has a long history of using food as medicine to help one of the key foundations of Women’s health – blood. Don’t worry, she won’t make you eat anything weird!
Alongside her work with digestive issues, Jacinta has gained considerable interest in helping patients with musculoskeletal issues, symptoms associated with busy, stressful lives – sleep disturbance, fatigue.
